| On Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm there will be little kick off event at the Regal Cinemas Theater at 1000 West Olympic Street.
Michael Jackson Fans are being asked to donate a toy for the Christmas Toy Drive called, "A Toy for Michael" at the LA Live Area Regal Theater.
Fans can drop off their toy donation in the designated boxes be provided. Toys will be collected fromnow until December 15th. The toys will be collected for needy children for The LA Missions Shelter. The first 50 people to drop off their new $10 value toy at the Theater will receive a "This is It" poster and they will have their names placed in the raffle to win "This is It" T-shirts!
The toy drive event “A Toy for Michael,” a Christmas toy drive benefiting children shelters, orphanages other Organizations that help children and families of Southern and Northern California, in memory of Michael Jackson, will be collecting new Christmas toys for children from MJ Fans between November 20, 2009 through December 15, 2009. They are asking for the toys to be new, unwrapped and at least a $10 value. According to several organizations they are in need of toys this Christmas and they expect thousands of families, who will need their help this Christmas Season.

wow, isn't that wonderful, donating a toy for charity! unfortunately the event above only happens in the US. now if only such an event can happen in singapore and around the world too. our dearest michael jackson would be touched by this act of kindness. if we can't sing or dance like him, we could at least do charity work and pay tributes (be it flash mobs, fanclubs, artwork or anything) to the legend we love.
